CHRISTMAS  EVE  7:00 p.m.

Last Christmas Eve, my first at Grace, was very meaningful to me.  The sounds of voices of the choir, the congregation, and soloists were jubilant.  The warmth of the setting was palpable, and the good wishes of people were impressive.

I hope the music will help to create another memorable service this year.  The prelude will include a Bach organ piece hailing “this brightest of days.”  Soloists Megnot Toggia and Forrest Glass will sing of happenings at the manger as well as a beautiful, newer setting of “Silent Night.”  Violinist Michael Shingo Crawford will play arrangements of traditional carols, including my favorite “In the Bleak Midwinter.”

Please plan on being at Grace at 6:50 pm Christmas Eve to both listen and lend your voice to singing carols which are such an important part of our celebration.
