Planning Ahead

Monday, October 12, 2020 from 6:30-8:30pm – The Delaware Conference Annual Assembly is scheduled to take place at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Springfield. The Conference Executive Committee is currently reviewing plans for this event which include an outdoor version of this Assembly, or virtual if needed. Whichever venue is chosen, the date remains October 12.  We will keep you posted as we make our decision in these next few weeks.

It is extremely important that, in addition to rostered leaders, two (or three, according to the number you send to Assembly) members from each congregation attend this meeting as you will be electing a new Conference Dean as well as conducting other important business. Bishop Davenport will be in attendance to oversee the election. Further information, including eligibility and process for electing a Dean, will be sent soon.
