October 1 through Sunday, November 22th – We will begin collecting gift card, money and gifts for the children of Gemma (formerly Silver Springs Martin Luther School) for Christmas on October 1st. There will be a box in the Narthex for the toys/gifts/gift cards and the Wish List for the children including stocking stuffers will be available then too.  All gifts must be in by Sunday, November 22th.  If you purchase gifts nothing can be wrapped but if you wish to donate wrapping paper and tape they also will be greatly appreciated.  The children can also use their own personal toiletries such as shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, etc. all appropriate for girls and for boys. If you would like to donate money please make your check payable to Grace Lutheran Church and mark Silver Springs on the memo line.  If you want to purchase gift cards they would like them in $25 increments or less.  The best gift cards to purchase are Amazon, Walmart, Target, Marshall’s as well as grocery store gift cards – Giant, Acme, etc.  Because they also provide gifts for children who don’t live at the school they use the grocery store gift cards so they can be sure the family will have food for Christmas dinner.
