November 2020 – The New Flower Chart for 2021 is now up and waiting for you to pick your dates to dedicate Altar Flowers.  The cost is still $25 per week.  Dedication forms are also there for you to take, mark the dates you have selected, fill out your dedication and return to the church office so that the information gets into the bulletin.

As in the past, we are collecting unwrapped gifts for the children of Gemma (formerly Silver Springs Martin Luther School).  In the Narthex is a Wish List for the children to make it easier for you to shop and there is a box in the Narthex to fill.  If you are not able to shop but would like to help please make your check payable to Grace Lutheran Church and mark it on the memo line for Silver Springs..  If you want to purchase gift cards they would like them in $25 increments or less.  The best gift cards to purchase are Amazon, Walmart, Target, Marshall’s as well as grocery store gift cards – Giant, Acme, etc.  Because they also provide gifts for children who don’t live at the school they use the grocery store gift cards so they can be sure the family will have food for Christmas dinner.  All gifts should be in by Sunday, November 22th.

Sunday, November 1st – December 6, 2020 – You can order Poinsettia Plants to beautify our altar for Christmas. Please fill out an order form or call the church office with your order for red or white poinsettias and how many of each.  Then fill out your dedication(s) and make your check payable to Grace Lutheran Altar Guild. You can place this in the offering plate or return it to the church office. Plants are $10 each.  Orders for Poinsettia Plants will be due no later than Sunday, December 6th.  Plants can be picked up after the Christmas Eve service.
