Wednesday, January 20, 2021 – Please join us at 10:30a.m. for Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall downstairs or let Vicar Kayla know if you want to join through Zoom. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King is often considered one of the most prominent theologians of the 20th century. On April 3, 1968, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave one of his most iconic and eerily prophetic speeches, I have been to the mountaintop… This would turn out to be his last speech, as he was assassinated the next day. During this Bible Study, we will look at the many Biblical references Rev. King utilizes in this speech and what we might understand from these applications of scripture. To look over the materials in advance such as the Bible passages and text or video of the speech, please contact Vicar Kayla
